MOSIKS PACKAGING FOR BETTER FUTURE
Environmental Awareness Packaging
In times of growing environmental awareness and social responsibility we decided to use jewelry boxes made from renewable resources. Attention is increasingly turning to biodegradability and environmentally-friendly materials. Thats why we use Bioplastic boxes - made from 100% plant.
Bioplastic - plastics originated using regrown raw materials. They are biodegradable and decompose to non artifactual innocuous base products. Plastics made from plants, can be processed and used like plastics but unlike conventional plastics they can be composted or used thermally after usage. Even the thermal recycling of plastic, on the basis of renewable raw materials, makes sense: CO2 - neutral energy can be generated.
The world‘s first jewelry packaging made of 100% compostable bioplastic! GreenPACK by Leser GmbH, made in Germany.
The benefits: Generated from plants - renewable raw materials - sufficiently availThe box material and colors are biodegradable and compostable Conservation of natural resources, i. e. fossil mineral oilProblem of competition for land: only 0.35% of the total worldwide cultivable land available would be needed of all plastics were converted to PLA. How to store and care for MOSIKS jewelry
Items of MOSIKS jewelry are crafted from Sterling Silver 925, Gold 585 and Rose Gold. Correct and regular care can prolong the durability of the jewelry.
Please note that traces of wear and tear (e.g. scratches) are more visible on items which have larger polished silver or gold surfaces as on other items. These can occur even after a short time.
External influences like scratches and tarnishing are normal signs of wear and tear and are no material faults!
To ensure you enjoy your beautiful jewelry store your precious items in a clean, dry place away from direct sun exposure. Please avoid storing your jewelry in damp and hot conditions as this can cause silver and gold plating to discolour and tarnish!
It is advisable to remove all jewelry when performing physical tasks or labour intensive activities to prevent physical damage or exposure to chemicals or cleaning fluids.
Put jewelry on after applying make-up. Cosmetics, hairsprays, perfumes and lotion can contain chemicals that can damage jewelry.
Don’t wear jewelry in swimming pools and spas. Chlorinated water can react with the metals causing color changes and even structural damage.
How to clean
Clean your jewelry with care. Cleaning your own jewelry regularly can keep it looking good, but be careful.
For best results, use water and a neutral detergent.
Soap can cause a film to form, making it appear dull and dingy. By preventing the formation of this film you immediately reduce the occasions of servicing.
Polish silver or gold with a jewelry polishing cloth for best results. Use of tissue or paper towels can cause scratches because of fibers in these products.
We recommend to use professional cleaning products.
